Hub Asia Segment Lead Power Quality at Hitachi Energy

Ranfeng is the HBU Segment Leader for Power Quality in Hitachi Energy, where he is responsible for the FACTS (Flexible AC Transmission System) & Power Conversion business portfolio in the APAC region. Prior to this role, Ranfeng was the Segment lead for renewable integration business. Ranfeng has more than 10 years of working experience in Power Systems and bulk renewable integration, before his time with Hitachi Energy, he worked with industry leaders like Vestas in wind turbine converter modelling and grid code compliance. In his early career, he worked for Transpower NZ, the owner and operator of New Zealand's high voltage transmission network, where he specialized in power system analysis, planning and delivery of system security forecasts for the System Operator.

Ranfeng earned his MBA from University of Manchester, Masters and bachelor’s in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Auckland, New Zealand.
