Petra Andrén is Chief Executive Officer of Quantum Australia, the national industry growth centre accelerating the commercialisation, adoption and global competitiveness of Australia's quantum sector.

With more than 25 years' experience building organisations, investment platforms and strategic partnerships across deep technology, life sciences, advanced manufacturing and government, Petra has worked at the intersection of research, industry, capital and public policy to help create new technology industries. Throughout her career, her focus has remained the same: translating world-class research into commercial success, economic growth and sovereign capability.

Today, Petra leads Quantum Australia in bringing together researchers, industry, investors and governments to accelerate industry adoption, commercialisation and international collaboration. She is a strong advocate for ensuring Australia captures the economic opportunities created by quantum technologies through a connected ecosystem that links science with industry demand.
