Brendan Vos has over 20 years of experience in the HVAC industry, combining deep technical expertise with executive leadership across engineering, manufacturing, energy optimisation, and commercial strategy. Beginning his career as a refrigeration technician, Brendan studied Mechanical Engineering whilst working full-time, progressing through technical, sales, operational, and executive leadership roles. Brendan has also recently completed a Masters Degree in Applied Finance.

Brendan currently holds a senior leadership position within Munters Data Center Technologies, where he leads portfolio strategy and go-to-market execution across the Asia-Pacific region. Working across engineering, product management, strategy, marketing, and commercial teams, he helps shape the next generation of data centre cooling solutions, ensuring the portfolio aligns with evolving customer requirements, market trends, and long-term business strategy.

Throughout his career, Brendan has led businesses across Australia and Asia Pacific, with responsibility for engineering, manufacturing, product strategy, sales, service, and organisational transformation. As Managing Director of Smardt Chiller Group APAC, he led the regional business through significant growth across multiple countries and in the development of key vertical markets across the Australia and Asia Pacific region, notably Data Centre and District Cooling.

Brendan has developed a strong reputation for combining practical engineering knowledge with strategic thinking to solve complex cooling challenges. His experience spans high-efficiency chiller technologies, oil-free magnetic-bearing compressors, chilled water plant optimisation, energy analytics, and next-generation cooling solutions. Passionate about innovation, he continues to focus on helping organisations improve the efficiency, flexibility, and sustainability of mission-critical cooling infrastructure.
